LODESTONE is an initiative by Jules Cadie & other local conspirators who want to explore different ways of finding value in what we do.

It's a project on the value of people's creativity & imagination in an era of transition.

The idea came about in response to the crisis and meltdown of global banking systems, the effects of unsustainable practices on the environment, and the cynicism of the political establishment.

People in their own local communities have a wealth of experience, knowledge, skills and creativity, which doesn't get the exposure it deserves.

LODESTONE aims to address this lack of recognition.

Apart from occasional events, LODESTONE might become a platform for the exchange of ideas; a kind of informal think tank, or whatever else people want it to be without losing sight of its general ethos.
